About us - a local family business
About us – we’ve been promoting visual art in the West Drayton area fulltime since 2021 to help people engage their creativity and improve mindfulness.
Jacob Sandell

Jacob has been helping to run and promote our endeavors since 2021 by promoting our classes on social media and has also been pursuing fantasy and comic book style art since he was 15. He regularly studies life drawing and anatomy as well as making characters and landscapes digitally.
Tony Sandell

Tony has been making paintings while living in Uxbridge for decades before deciding to pursue art full-time in 2020. His goal is to help more people access and enjoy painting and drawing. Tony is a multimedia artist with experience in oils and acryllic but loves the ease of use and portability of working on his iPad.
Our Code of Conduct
We take the safety of our students, especially vulnerable adults and young people, very seriously and are dedicated to making an environment where everyone can be free to express themselves. Our code of conduct is a promise to follow this vision:
1. We will always maintain professionality in dress and behaviour; we provide positive feedback and encouragement but we also allow students to express themselves as they choose.
2. All students will be given free control over their work and it will never be posted without their permission.
3. We have regularly updated safeguarding and risk assessment policies to make sure there are no risks to our students at our facilities, rented or otherwise.
4. We only keep information where it’s necessary to keep young people and vulnerable people safe. When we do have to keep information such as medical details or emergency contact information, we keep it securely and never share it with unauthorised third parties in accordance with our duty under data protection law.
5. We never discriminate on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion or skin colour and we do not allow bullying in our classes.
6. We offer our lessons to help make art accessible and affordable for as many people as possible. Although some of the programs and resources we use are paid, we never advertise to students and our focus is on building skills and knowledge that anyone can use without expensive tools.
8. We involve parents and guardians as much as possible. Students are encouraged to take artwork home and we strive to be as transparent as possible in our teaching and lesson policies.
6. Our number one goal is to make art fun. As mental health advocates, we encourage a positive self image and an approach to making art that celebrates diversity in all forms.
